Manchester United defender Ayden Heaven was spotted leaving the King Power Stadium with his right foot in a protective boot after sustaining an injury during United’s 3-0 victory over Leicester City.
The 18-year-old, who had put in another impressive display before the break, went down early in the second half following a challenge with Patson Daka. He immediately signaled for medical attention, prompting concern among teammates and fans alike.
Heaven received prolonged treatment on the pitch, with his right leg placed in a brace before being stretchered off down the tunnel. However, in a positive sign, he was not taken to the hospital and was later seen walking unaided from the dressing room to the team bus—albeit with his foot and lower leg secured in a protective boot.
United head coach Ruben Amorim revealed that Heaven was struggling to speak while receiving treatment, with several teammates offering him support during the distressing moment.
